This is Jack Bobeck’s house in Jacksonville, FL in the Avondale neighborhood. I purchased it in October 2021 and have a good 3.125% mortgage on it, and as you can suspect with rates now at 7%, I am happy staying here. Its a nice house with 7 rooms all on one floor. There is a crawl space that makes it easy to get to things and an insulated attic that helps keep the house cool in the summer and nice in the winter.
I have had people over for dinner and quasi-gatherings. I do like to entertain and I am sure to always have food and drink available for my guests. I do not drink, but my guests can if they so choose. I have a cold plunge and hot tub in back. I have renovated the kitchen and bathroom, painted walls and put up my artwork.
The house is a “sears house” so it was purchased out of a catalog and built in 1928. There is gas to the house so the stove and the dryer are powered as my gas appliances. I really need to get a piano so I can stop adding to my website and give me a new release and outlet. I would like to learn how to play the organ. I also own a couple of acoustic guitars and can play a few tunes on guitar.
